Buying a used longboard

Who it suits

Any level, in long gentle waves. Volume is not the way to size one.

What to check on a used one

Sight the whole length for a buckle. Nine feet of board is nine feet of lever.
Check the fin box track and the leash plug, both of which take a lot of load.
Ask about the weight. A heavy log is a choice; a heavy performance longboard is water.

The full ten-minute inspection applies to every shape.
